I was there: Vogue Fashion Night Out Paris, 16 September 2014

Le 16 septembre avait lieu la Vogue Fashion Night Out à Paris. Les boutiques du quartier Saint Honoré ont accueilli la sixième édition de cet événement mode incontournable de la rentrée. Pour célébrer cette soirée de festivités, Vogue Paris éditait d'ailleurs un t-shirt inédit aux couleurs de la VFNO, disponible en édition limitée avec le numéro de septembre. Un modèle d'inspiration rock, sur lequel se dessine un appareil photo vintage.

Du côté des maisons de coutures, Chanel présentait le vernis Sweet Star, un gris métallisé avec de légers reflets violets. Pinko exposait son t-shirt édition limité Pinko x VFNO. Chez Colette, Caroline de Maigret signait son livre "How to be Parisian". Quant à Guerlain, nous avions la possibilité de faire graver notre bouteille de parfum spécialement pour l'occasion. Enfin, chez Fauchon, il était possible de déguster des éclaires avec un nappage aux couleurs de Vogue. Je pourrais encore continuer à faire la liste de toutes les exclusivités de cette soirée. About fashion houses, Chanel introduced the nail polish Sweet Star, a metallic gray with slight purple hues. Pinko exposed his limited edition t-shirt Pinko x VFNO. At Colette, Caroline de Maigret was signing her book "How to be Parisian". As for Guerlain, we were able to brand our perfume bottle for the occasion. Finally, at Fauchon, it was possible to taste "éclaires" with topping with the colors of Vogue. I could go on to list all the exclusivities of that evening. Voici ce que j'ai porté pour notre soirée au restaurant... Vous savez probablement que j'adore tout ce qui est assez Rock, et si vous ne le saviez pas, regardez juste ces mitaines en cuir que j'ai dénichées chez KARL! Complètement dingues, tout comme ce pantalon effet cuir qui me fait penser au style Balmain que j'adore... associé avec mes nouvelles sandales Zara, et en ouvrant les zips, je trouve que l'effet est des plus Karlisim... haha XOXO

Here's what I wore for our evening at the restaurant... You probably know that I love everything which is quite Rock, and if you don't know it, just look at those leather gloves I found at KARL's store! Completely crazy, as this effect leather pants. By the way it reminds me of Balmain style that I lov ... associated with my new Zara sandals, and opening zips, I think the effect is really Karlisim... haha XOXO

Paris était tellement bien! Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un temps des plus ensoleillé, et comme d'habitude, nous n'avons pas été déçus de la ville. Samedi, nous avons consacré notre journée au shopping, évidemment. Je vous avais parlé de mon envie d'avoir le sac City de chez Balenciaga, malheureusement ce que je redoutais est arrivé, puisqu'il n'existe plus avec les gros clous... Pas très grave, je me rabats sur les derbies à lacets et ceintures qui sont à couper le souffle! Cependant, il n'y avait plus ma pointure, je suis donc maintenant sur la liste d'attente... Bref très compliquées les marques de luxe! Nous avons continué à flâner dans les quartiers Saint-Honoré, Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Place de la Madeleine et compagnie. Ensuite nous avons terminé notre shopping chez KARL, comme à notre habitude lorsqu'on va a Paris... et bien sur nous sommes repartis les bras chargés! Je vous montrerai prochainement mes achats dans la boutique. Dimanche, nous avons consacré la journée à visiter Paris: Montmartre, le Trocadéro, et le Marais pour finir sur les Champs. Voila, que puis-je dire de plus? Paris is always a good idea...

Paris was so good! We had the chance to have a sunny time, and as usual we were not disappointed by the city. Saturday, we spent our day to make some shopping, of course. I talked to you about my desire to have the Balenciaga City bag, unfortunately what I dreaded has thought, it no longer exists with the big studs... No big deal, I chose the laced derbies with the belts that are breathtaking! However, there was no more my size, so I'm now on the waiting list... Anyway very complicated luxury brands! We continued to stroll through Saint-Honoré, Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Place de la Madeleine and so on. Then we finished our shopping at KARL, as we usually do when we go to Paris... and of course we are left with an armful! I will show you my purchases in the shop. Sunday, we spent the day visiting Paris: Montmartre, the Trocadero and the Marais to finish on the Champs. Then, what can I say? Paris is always a good idea...
